Gilt Rule Updates:
Now, let’s dive into the updates for the Gilt competition. Pay attention, folks! All gilts must have been farrowed between June 1 and September 10th of the previous year. Purebred gilt classes will be divided by weight within each breed. Remember, gilts must weigh at least 15 lbs of their official turn-in weight.

Market Goat Classes
We’ve got 12 Market Goat Classes and they’ll be categorized into 4 weight divisions. The top 4 placements will have the opportunity to sell their goats in the highly anticipated Hill District Youth Auction.

Turkeys:
Last but not least, for all turkey enthusiasts, we’ve got something special for you too. The top 20 placing turkeys (10 toms and 10 hens) will be eligible for added premiums and scholarships. However, keep in mind that exhibitors can only receive premiums or scholarships for one qualifying placing.

We hope you’re as excited as we are about these fantastic opportunities. Get ready to make your mark at the upcoming event!
