Hailing from Saint Hedwig, Jason brings an impressive 35 years of experience to the Hill District Grandstand, where he will oversee the turkey division for 2026. His extensive background, coupled with a passion for giving back to the community, makes him an exceptional choice for this role.
Jason’s journey in poultry science began at Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a degree in Poultry Science in 1996. Over the years, he has fine-tuned his expertise by judging countless county shows and major poultry exhibitions across the country. His dedication to the craft stems from a genuine desire to support exhibitors and their families, helping them grow and succeed in the livestock community. For Jason, judging is more than a responsibility—it’s a way to give back and inspire others.

Family is a cornerstone of Jason’s life. Married for 26 years, he and his wife have raised three children, two of whom are proud Texas A&M graduates, while their youngest is currently attending the university. Outside of the judging arena, Jason enjoys Aggie sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors.
