Addie Morris: 2025 Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt
Meet Addie Morris, a 13-year-old 8th grader from Eden, TX, whose recent triumph at the Hill District Grandstand has caught the attention of our community. Addie proudly clinched the Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt banner, a testament to her dedication and passion for showing and raising show pigs.
But there’s more to Addie than meets the eye. A proud member of Concho Co. 4-H, her interests extend beyond the confines of the barn. In her free time, you’ll find her playing both softball and baseball, showcasing her versatility and enthusiasm for teamwork and competition. Her love for animals doesn’t stop at the show ring either; Addie aspires to pursue a degree in Large Animal Veterinary Medicine at either Hardin Simmons University or OSU.
Her achievements are a result of her hard work, commitment, and the unwavering support of her community. At the forefront of this support is Capital Farm Credit, whose sponsorship continues to empower young achievers like Addie. Their backing not only fuels her current endeavors but also sows the seeds for her future ambitions in veterinary medicine.
As we celebrate Addie’s accomplishments, we also look forward to seeing her grow and succeed in all her pursuits. Her journey is just beginning, and with such determination and passion, there’s no doubt she’ll continue to shine.
Congratulations, Addie! We are incredibly proud of your achievements, and we’re excited to see where your journey takes you next. Keep reaching for those stars! 📸
