Addison Hahn, Gillespie County 4-H

Addison Hahn, a senior at Fredericksburg High School, recently clinched the prestigious Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat title at the 2025 Hill District Grandstand.  Her dedication, hard work, and winning mindset continues to inspire many.

Beyond the Show Ring

Despite her packed schedule, Addison remains a force to be reckoned with. When she’s not dominating the competition with her exceptional showmanship, she’s actively engaging in various activities that fuel her diverse interests. Addison is a proud member of Gillespie County 4-H, where her commitment to excellence is evident. Her enthusiasm for agriculture and animal science is further highlighted through her active participation in sheep skill-a-thons. A testament to her unyielding curiosity and passion for learning.

But it’s not all about agriculture for Addison. Away from the show rings, she channels her creativity and skill as a percussionist in the high school band. Music provides a perfect balance to her hectic life. Meanwhile, quality moments with her dad often involve snapping funny pictures that capture their cherished bond and shared sense of humor.

As Addison prepares to embark on the next chapter of her life, her academic achievements shine just as brightly as her extracurricular accomplishments. Addison has secured admission to Texas A&M. She intends to pursue a major in animal science and chemistry. These fields that align closely with her aspirations and dedication to making a difference in the world.
