Crayton Rains, Fredericksburg FFA

At just 15 years old, 8th grader Crayton Rains from Fredericksburg, TX, has captured the attention of many with his impressive achievement as the Reserve Champion in the Hampshire Market Barrow category at the 2025 Hill District Grandstand. This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to Crayton’s dedication, passion, and natural talent in the field.

As a proud member of Fredericksburg FFA, Crayton’s journey in livestock showing is fueled by his love for the animals he works with. Shout out to his beloved pig, who often enjoys Crayton’s melodious singing. This unique bond between Crayton and his pig not only demonstrates his gentle and nurturing spirit but also highlights his creative approach to animal husbandry.

For Crayton, the future is bright with opportunities. His dreams extend beyond his local community, as he aspires to continue showing and travel the world, gaining new experiences and expanding his knowledge in the field.
