Emily Posey, Medina County 4-H

Today, we are thrilled to spotlight an incredible young achiever, Emily Posey, from D’Hanis, TX. Emily, a 10-year-old 4th grader and an ardent member of the Medina County 4-H, shines bright with her accolade at the 2025 Hill District Grandstand. Emily’s dedication and passion for showing pigs have earned her the title of Reserve Champion for her Dark OPB Market Barrow.

Hard Work and Passion

Emily’s journey in the competitive world of pig showing is truly inspiring. Her hard work and enthusiasm are evident in every competition, and securing the Reserve Champion banner is a testament to her commitment. Among her many cherished memories, this achievement stands out as a significant milestone. However, her ambitions don’t end here. Emily aspires to attend Texas A&M University and pursue a career in medicine. Her drive and determination are sure to make her dreams a reality.
