12-year-old Kade Barber, a proud member of the Medina County 4-H, made headlines claimed the Reserve Champion Market Barrow title with his Yorkshire pig at the 2025 Hill District Grandstand.

Kade’s success  is a testament to his hard work and determination. At such a young age, his achievements are already setting him apart in the world of livestock showmanship. His talents extend beyond the show ring. Kade juggles his responsibilities in 4-H with his passion for football and raising pigs. Hanging his first major show banner with Coors remains one of his cherished memories, and it’s clear that this is just the beginning for this young champion.

Beyond the Show Ring

Dreaming of a future that combines his love for custom trucks and raising pigs, Kade is setting his sights on a successful future. With a supportive family behind him, including his mom, dad, and papa, who he gratefully acknowledges, Kade is poised for continued success.

A Round of Applause

None of this would be possible without the generous support of sponsors like Capital Farm Credit. They play a vital role in the continued success and growth of young agricultural enthusiasts like Kade. Their sponsorship not only empowers individual participants but also strengthens the entire community that revolves around these events.
