Lana Jenschke, St. Mary’s 4-H

We’re rolling out the red carpet for an incredible young talent from Fredericksburg, TX – Lana Jenschke! At just 12 years old, this seventh grader from St. Mary’s 4-H has already proven herself a formidable competitor by winning Reserve Champion American Heifer at the 2025 Hill District Grandstand. It’s no small feat, and it’s clear that Lana has a bright future ahead!

Beyond the Show Ring

Lana’s passion for animal science shines through in everything she does. When she’s not in the show ring, you’ll find her playing volleyball or dedicating time to her show projects. One of her favorite moments is calling her Heifer for feeding time and witnessing the majestic animal come galloping. It’s these heartwarming experiences that fuel her love for what she does.

Looking forward, Lana has set her sights on attending Texas A&M University to study animal science. Her ultimate dream is to become a veterinarian, combining her love for animals and science into a rewarding career. With such determination and drive, there’s no doubt she will achieve this goal.
