Lilah Bohnert, a shining member of Kendall Co. 4-H from Waring, TX, has earned the coveted Champion Spot in the 2025 Hill District Grandstand Breeding Gilt Show. Her achievement is a testament to her hard work, commitment, and love for the animals she raises with care.

Lilah’s journey in the world of competitive pig showing is both inspiring and impressive. Alongside her accomplishments in the show ring, she juggles a busy schedule filled with cheerleading, softball, and nurturing her piglets in the farrowing house. This multifaceted young woman embodies the spirit of perseverance and balance—qualities that are fundamental to any great leader.

Her win brings pride to her community. It also sets a compelling example for fellow 4-H members and aspiring young individuals. Lilah’s dedication underscores the essence of 4-H: learning by doing.
