Meet Kash Allen: 2026 Hill District Grandstand Market Barrow Judge

The 2027 Hill District Grandstand Market Lamb Show is proud to welcome Kash Allen as this year’s judge. With deep roots in agriculture, a successful livestock judging background, and a passion for the impact livestock projects have on young people and their families, Kash brings valuable experience to the show ring.

Agricultural Roots and Education

Kash grew up in Bunch, Oklahoma, on a commercial cow-calf operation. His involvement in the livestock industry began at a young age, showing club lambs through 4-H and FFA.

He continued his agricultural education at Eastern Oklahoma State College and Oklahoma State University, majoring in Agricultural Education and competing on the livestock judging teams at both institutions.

While at Oklahoma State, Kash was a member of the 2019 National Champion Livestock Judging Team, an accomplishment that helped further develop his knowledge and evaluation skills.

A Strong Livestock Judging Foundation

Kash’s experience as a competitive livestock judger, combined with his own background as an exhibitor, gives him a unique perspective when he steps into the show ring.

He understands firsthand the preparation, commitment, and countless hours that go into livestock projects before an exhibitor ever enters the ring.

Why Kash Judges

For Kash, one of the greatest parts of judging is seeing the positive impact livestock can have on young people — and on entire families.

He values the early mornings, late nights, and shared goals that come with raising and showing livestock. He believes livestock projects create a unique environment where families work together, communicate, and support one another as young exhibitors pursue their goals.

As Kash puts it, we aren’t only growing livestock — we’re growing positive relationships with our youth.

Words of Wisdom

Kash encourages exhibitors to look beyond banners and placings when measuring their success:

“Success is not defined by who wins today but by the lessons and friendships we have gained over the years of this program.”

It’s a reminder that some of the greatest rewards of showing livestock are the skills, relationships, and memories built along the way.

Family, Teamwork and the Livestock Industry

The family and team aspect of showing livestock is especially important to Kash. He believes it is one of the few competitive youth activities that truly requires everyone to be on board.

From working together at home to supporting one another at the show, livestock projects provide families with opportunities to spend meaningful time together while helping young people develop lifelong skills.

Looking Ahead

As the 2027 Hill District Grandstand Market Lamb Judge, Kash Allen is ready to bring his livestock knowledge, experience, and appreciation for youth agriculture to the ring.

We look forward to welcoming Kash to the 2027 Hill District Grandstand and wish all of our Market Lamb exhibitors the best of luck!
