Hill District Grandstand 30-Second Video Contest

Are you ready to showcase your passion for agriculture and the Hill District Grandstand? Here’s your chance to share your story, inspire others, and win big! We’re excited to announce the Hill District Grandstand 30-Second Video Contest, where exhibitors can submit a short video answering one of the questions below. Winners in each age division (Junior, Intermediate, Senior) will receive FREE 2026 HDGS entries! (Value up to $75 towards entries).

How to Enter

• Choose a Question: Choose one of the following prompts to answer in your video:

• 1. How has the Hill District Grandstand helped you grow as a young agricultural leader?
  2. What impact do the buyers at the Hill District Grandstand have on your 4-H or FFA projects and your future in agriculture?
  3. Why is the involvement of youth in agriculture important, and how does the Hill District Grandstand help make that possible?
  4. In what ways has exhibiting at the Hill District Grandstand helped you understand the value of hard work, responsibility, and dedication?
  5. Share your favorite memory or most meaningful moment from the Hill District Grandstand — and how it’s inspired your future goals in agriculture.

• Create Your Video: Record a 15- 30-second video answering your chosen question. Be creative, authentic, and let your personality shine!

• Submit Your Entry: Please upload your video below by November 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Please review the Rules for Video Submission below.

Prizes

• One winner from each age division (Junior, Intermediate, Senior) will receive FREE 2026 Hill District Grandstand entries!

(Value is up to $75 in entry fees per division.)

Tips for a Winning Video

• Speak from the heart and share your personal experiences.
• Find ways to thank the BUYERS, Community, Educators, and family who support you on this journey.
• Keep it clear, concise, and within the 15-30-second limit.
• Show your passion for agriculture and the Hill District Grandstand.
• Make sure your video is well-lit and easy to hear.

Rules for Video Submission

• Video format should be VERTICAL.
• File size should be 10-25 MB. Larger file sizes will be rejected.
• File type should be MP4 – video file
• File should be named with the following format: HDGS – Exhibitors’ Initials – Age Division (JR, INT, SR) – Question Number.MP4. Example: HDGS-KW-JR-1.mp4
• By entering this contest, you grant HDGS permission to post and promote this video.

Questions:

• Can you enter more than one video? Yes, you can enter 1 video for each question.  When saving the video, be sure to name the file according to the question number, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
• Winners will be notified by November 14, 2025.

Age Divisions:
JR (Junior): 3rd – 5th Grade
Int (Intermediate): 6th – 8th Grade
SR (Senior): 9th – 12th Grade
